Akbar Arghandiwal is an Afghan American, experienced executive with intimate knowledge and
expertise in Afghanistan and in the region. In the past decade, Mr. Arghandiwal has served as CEO, Managing Director, or President of various companies since past 20 years.
With a sense of deep care for Afghanistan and its people of his birth country, Mr. Arghandiwal
spends more than 30 percent of his time supporting, mentoring, couching and advising the startup
community in Afghanistan, and now his goal, through his newest venture; Stratex Law is to continue
help the nation through legal and advocacy means.
He has been an active mentor, advisor, and coach, to the startup ecosystem here and often speaks at various startups gatherings in Afghanistan and other countries.
Mr. Arghandiwal studied Computer Sciences at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill California, as well as Sacramento State University, Sacramento, California, USA. However, the bulk of his experiences come from working with many start-ups and helps them achieve growth. His strength is operations, specifically building organizations and leadership teams. His passion also include
helping, mentor young entrepreneurs and he spends a good amount of his time volunteering on this subject in Afghanistan.
