Kick start of NITPAA’s Leadership training programs Series

The National IT Professional Association of Afghanistan is pleased to start the new series of training programs on building and boosting Leadership Skills for the newly rising stars of the community to build up the future leaders in the country.

Working towards this initiative, NITPAA announced and organized its first event on Public Speaking “NITPAA 115: Leadership Program – Public Speaking” at Karwan University, where two of the best NITPAA members Mr. Abdul Sabor Mobariz the executive management member and Mr. Nasrat Khalid the Board of Trustee Member has briefly explained the tips and points which has to be taken care while speaking on the stage or in front of bigger or smaller audience.

While explaining the main tips which has to be taken care of during public speaking, Mr. Mobariz, a Toastmaster Certified Speaker and NITPAA Member said that in order to share your ideas and communicate with your mates, university scholars, to the nation as a politician or in your family as a family member and it doesn’t matter on what level are you speaking, you need to take care of some certain things to convey your message more precisely. Mr. Mobariz shared the 10 points based on which an individual can gain the confidence and communicate with more accuracy and control.

 Mr. Mobariz explained the tips to the audience categorizing it into the 10 projects and persuade everyone to practice it in order to build and improve their Public Speaking Skills.

On the other hand Mr. NAsrat Khalid, the board of trustee member of NITPAA explained the importance of speaking to the audience. He said that before realizing the tools to take care of while speaking, you have to find out answers to the 3 main question’s 1) is there any need for you to speak? 2) Do you want to speak? And 3) Do you really want to speak?

The event was organized at Karwan University where more than 70 participants were benefited from it

NITPAA and Karwan University has recently signed a MoU both the parties agreed to develop academic cooperation’s on various fields and agreed to initiate collaborative activities in academic areas of mutual interest such as sharing knowledge and available resources with the consent of the two parties for events, gatherings, sessions and workshops.

Ahmad Waleed Khaliqi

Mr. Khaliqi is expecting his bachelor's degree in Computer Science in mid-2017 from a leading private university in Kabul. He is certified in MCITP and has academic qualifications in CCNA, CCNP and CCIP. He has Diploma in Information Technology (DIT), Diploma in Business Administration (DBA) and Diploma in Accounting (DIA). While doing his degree courses, He is also a full time employee of Afghan Ministry of Information and Culture as an IT officer and has several years of professional experience with his current employer Bakhtar News Agency as senior IT officer and web Administrator. He writes articles for media and has great skills in online/offline journalism and blogging. Mr. Ahmad Waleed represented NITPAA and Afghanistan at India School of Internet Governance and ICANN 57 in Oct-Nov 2016 in India. Mr. Ahmad Waleed joined NITPAA back in 2015 as a regular member but, in a short period of time he was able to make it to NITPAA executive board. His passion for ICT, and commitment, dedication and immense achievements in executive board were visible to all and soon he was appointed as chair of NITPAA Public Awareness Committee by NITPAA leadership. In an early election by NITPAA main and executive boards’ members Mr. Khaliqi was elected as president of NITPAA for the year 2017.
