The National IT Professionals Association of Afghanistan (NITPAA) is pleased to announce the third version of Afghanistan School on Internet Governance (AfSIG) at Kabul to be held on October 2019.
The primary objective of AfSIG is to help individuals from Afghanistan to understand the national, regional and international Internet Governance issues, settings and processes, while gaining access to comprehensive and structured knowledge on the various aspects of Internet Governance.
AfSIG 2019 offers a 3-days academic course that covers the legal, economic, technological and other dimensions of Internet Governance.
The first and second version of AfSIG was held in 2017 and 2018 in Kabul, which was endorsed by the key National and International Organizations like Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT), Internet Society Afghanistan Chapter, the Asia Pacific School on Internet Governance (APSIG), Afghanistan Telecom Regulatory Authority (ATRA), Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD) and the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).
