Online Resource Centers
NITPAA's founding members understand the demand for latest technology published books and other materials. With the increase in the number of students in IT and business programs in Afghan Universities and as well as working professionals, the desire to update knowledge has increased and the market demand to have latest vendor certifications has also increased. But there are a number of issues that prohibit Afghans from having easy access to these books. One of the many reasons is the unavailability of books and other published materials in the local market in Afghanistan. Bookstores are not widespread in the country or they don't carry the latest books that are available in the international market. There is no online bookstores available that citizens could use, neither international bookstores like amazon, indigo or ebay provide shipping facilities to Afghanistan. Postal service is not fully functional or too costly to facilitate these services. At the same time, global and government's pressure on the use of copyrighted material also doesn't help the Afghan students and professionals to update their knowledge. They mostly rely on borrowing or buying used books from one another or to ask a friend who goes outside Afghanistan to buy them the books they require. NITPAA understands the complexities of getting a hold of these materials in time and have made possible for its members to freely download and use the books and other published material at iHub and update their knowledge to compete in the international market. NITPAA provides access to copyrighted material and provides guidance on the effective use of these materials through our Mentor program. NITPAA provides access to PDF books, research papers, journals, white papers, video trainings, and compilations of latest and useful links to podcasts and other reading materials.
